At first, was surprised that the FM band is the non-Eastern Bloc one, but then if it was built for export, it isn't so surprising.
I once saw a Sanyo boombox online -- for sale to Eastern Bloc countries, had MW, FM (OIRT), LW and a SW band.
Eastern Bloc radios of the Cold War era were all pretty fascinating.
