Could this have been the LSB of EE 374 (Alexandria, MN)?  The dits in EE are rather closely spaced.

Hmmm,  good thinking,  that does make sense,  although the dits are very close together.
Logged at least three other stations in MN this morning, propagation was excellent that direction.
