Hearing HM01 very strong this afternoon SIO 555 with long data bursts and short Spanish numbers (female / YL reading callup) 50856 30856 33004 31877 31104 and several others.  Was scanning the 25 meter broadcast band and stumbled upon this very strong transmission.

Coming in nicely on my "throwaway emergency radio" TECSUN R9012 analog AM/FM/SW portable with telescopic whip.

For whatever reason, the broadcasts at 2100 and 2200 routinely boom in with stronger, cleaner signals than any of the other daily transmissions, regardless of the solar weather and the state of the ionosphere. I tend to find the days where those come in at 16180 and 17480 kHz (Tu, Th, Sa) are maybe a bit better than the other days (11635 and 10715 kHz). If you like decoding the RDFT data bursts, those are the best times to get them. Could they be using different transmitters beamed in different directions?

It wouldn't surprise me if they were using different transmitters and/or different antennas (which would explain some signals and some times being cleaner/stronger than others).

I'm listening to HM01 on 11635 kHz / 11.635 MHz at 1830 UTC 9 May 2017.  Voice and data bursts with YL reading numbers in Spanish.  S9 to S9+10db signal SIO555 with very little noise, even when the carrier isn't modulated.
