Trance DJ and producer Robert Miles has passed away aged 47.

The Swiss-born star, who was most famous for his '90s smash-hit Children, passed away from an unreported illness, according to DJ Mag Italia.

Miles, real-name Robert Concina, scored a number one hit in six countries with his iconic floor-filler before moving on to more experimental sounds; eventually setting up Open Lab (a Balearic radio station).

His death was first reported by DJ Mag Italia, which explained that Robert had passed away from as of yet unknown illness.

Oh jeez.  I was a tween/young teenager when 'Children' was a hit.  I've always been a bigger fan of a song of his, lesser known, called 'One', that he put together with guest vocals from... I believe her name is Marie Nailer?

What a shame. :(

if you can independently flex each butt cheek to the beat, that's good music
