This was a message sent by the US Air Force on their HFGCS network of transmission. 6739 is one of several frequencies they use.

I moved this thread from the "Spy Numbers" to "Utility" forum.  In general coded military messages, such as those on the HF-GCS network, are not considered "numbers" stations.

Unknown Name,

Next time you hear traffic on 6739 kHz USB, try these other frequencies, as USAF HF-GCS transmissions are often simulcasted:

4724 kHz USB
8992 kHz USB
11175 kHz USB
13200 kHz USB
15016 kHz USB

U.S. East Coast, various HF/VHF/UHF radios/scanners/receivers

You're welcome, Unknown Name.

The nice thing about the 6739 frequency, is that if you have an SDR or are using an online one with a waterfall and you're using that to hunt for pirates, it's easy to see if a message is going out on this one and you can jump over and have something to listen to if the pirates aren't on (or, as is often the case out west , they aren't propagating well).
