5110 USB Sycko Radio? (tentative ID)
« on: August 30, 2010, 0413 UTC »
8/30/10
5110 USB (not WBCQ)
Can just barely copy 5110 USB as of 0358z, sounds like Pirates Week podcast?
0404z: Sorta familiar grunge era rock song, not sure if Nirvana or other band from that genre. Muddle of Pud? "Psycho" - "Maybe I'm the one..."
0407z: Gotta be Sycko Radio, I don't know anyone else with a copy of this song - Over Core "Heavy"
0410z: Sounds like Sycko's voice talking, but danged local RFI covered it up, not sure if there was an ID in there.
SINPO=32332, good signal peaks, some QRN, main problem is horrendous RFI bursts for 30 seconds every 2 minutes wiping out signal.
That li'l ol' DXer from Texas
Unpleasant Frequencies Crew
Al: Palstar R30C & various antennae
Snoopy: Sony ICF-2010
Roger: Magnavox D2935
(Off-air recordings.)
