Excellent reception

I believe this is WHRI based on the frequency and their history of broadcasting the 500.  Could not find it on their website though.

1740z Conor Daly just went into wall while losing speed, into commercials.  Return with "This is the Verizon Indy Series"
1800z Chevy commercial, "Stay tuned for the greatest spectacle in racing"
1807z "Alonso's about ten car lengths back in second"
1826z WHR ID

Tecsun H501x (broadcast received on this unless noted), Zenith T/O G500, Zenith T/O Royal 7000, Emerson AR-176, Zenith 8S154, T/O 7G605 (Bomber), Tecsun PL-600, Tecsun PL-880, Zenith 5S320, Realistic DX 160 using 40 feet of copper wire.  With apologies to Senator Gramm for his thoughts on firearms, "I have more radios than I need but not as many as I want."

Excellent signal in Florida as well, coming in strong and clear just on a Tecsun PL-660 with the whip, sitting on a table indoors.

I don't follow racing at all but I am enjoying the broadcast, the announcers are very thorough!
Florida, always listening via my Tecsun PL-660 receiver.
