Something One?  Signal One maybe?

Off 2255z (and back)

Yeah forground is "Signal One", can't get the background word(s), 3 syllables

Ah, the background is just the foreground backwards... Here's a clip

6925 AM SIO 333

I started recording in sideband, switched to am, back to sideband & then finally back to am to hear the two different phrases better.  What's weird is I couldn't hear the "Signal One" phrase at first, but with later tx's the levels seemed to change between the two phrases.

22:53z "...signal one..." repeated over with what sounds like "..interesting.." or "..FCC.."(that may be subconcious from readng the thread earlier) moving in & out of the audio like someone messing about with a mixer.

Audio (22:41z-23:02z): http://www.archive.org/download/ShortwaveOddsSodsTransmissions/SignalOne6925Am2241z-2302z03-05-12.mp3

Bizzare, but cool-thnx! :)

I was listening to this one earlier but I couldn't decide what I was hearing. It sounded like they were saying "CQ TEN" over and over. Now it sounds like "NO ONE" - just too distorted for my ears. The transmission was mostly non-stop with several 1 minute pauses in between. The non-stop transmissions I heard were as follows:

2140 - 2203: Audio repeated over and over non-stop followed by a one minute pause with no audio
2204 - 2206: Audio repeated over and over non-stop followed by a one minute pause with no audio
2207 - 2209: Audio repeated over and over non-stop followed by a one minute pause with no audio
2210 - 2212: Audio repeated over and over non-stop followed by a one minute pause with no audio
2213 - 2215: Audio repeated over and over non-stop followed by no audio for at least 5 minutes. I stopped listening at this point thinking he was gone forever.

I was thinking that they might have been listening to the frequency during that one minute pause.

It sounded best in USB here, 'Signal One' with a shifting "this is" under the louder Signal one.

Made me put my headphones on....
