Dogs to be used in this years Earhart Expedition.

Specially bred water dogs would be my guess, even though they are freshwater species. I hope the Howland Island penguins don't devour them before they can sniff out the old battle-axe resting on the bottom. Al needs to know the truth.

They should leave the old girl in peace.

If they must look, they should use diving cats; those of the famouse Perl-diving breed from the ancient port of Zubarah have been successfully scouring the seabed of the Persian gulf for thousands of years.

What do "perl cats" scour the bottom of the Persian Gulf for, Al? Old sea yarns would be my guess.

I think it was Wayne Green who stated in his legendary publication that Emelia and Fred were on a spy mission for FDR and were forced down by the Japanese.
