Via Swedish SDR. Italian language 6700 kHz LSB 6.700 MHz LSB 6705 kHz LSB 6.705 MHz LSB pirates bootleggers Echo Charlie EC 6.6 MHz 6.7 MHz band

Hearing informal CB-like QSOs on 6700 kHz LSB and 6705 kHz LSB.  Sounds like Italian language.  Lots of stations chatting over each other, whistling into microphones, etc.  6705 kHz LSB is the more active of the two.  Originally thought it was 6702 kHz USB (and possibly a "legit" net).  But the 5 kHz steps and use of LSB are both suspect.  Possibly Echo Charlie "EC" pirates usually around 6.6 MHz and 6.7 MHz aeronautical bands in Europe.  These stations are chatting nonstop, really reminds me of Italian CB radio.  Started listening around 1655 UTC, still going strong at 1705 UTC on both frequencies.

At 1705 UTC, 6700 kHz LSB seems to be quiet, but 6705 kHz LSB is still very active.  Roundtable like ragchew QSO.  Different accents heard, likely indicating stations from different parts of Italy.  I know the 6.6 MHz pirates are generally land-based stations and not marine HF mobiles, but you never know...and either way, they still count as "peskies"
