"2JCU" 7.990MHz CW...
« on: August 07, 2017, 2300 UTC »
Heard someone transmitting via a hand key at varied speeds and spacings "de 2JCU k" every minute or so, then "vvv de 2JCU k" on 7.990MHz CW between 0900 to 0940z.

Must be in this region as a good 559 report and Europe not in.  Could it be an M89 style variant or a marine station?  ;)

Yaesu FT-1000D, Yaesu FT-2000D, ICOM IC-736 HF/50MHz, ICOM IC R75 & Tecsun S-2000 to 450 feet of wire, 27MHz 1/2 wave CB antenna converted to 21MHz & a multi band vertical of dubious reliability.
