All that week we had been running temps of 110+ during the daytime, the high at my place was around 114 deg F.  Most nights cooled off to the high 80's or low 90's, but the night of the 25th it stayed warm all night.

T!

So by "staying warm all night" you mean higher than the low 90s? Yikes.

Couldn't sleep, so what does a radio guy do?  Get on the air and check for beacons, of course!

Windy was coming in just above my local noise with little qsb at 0720 Zulu early this morning.  Temp 88 degs, battery reported at 12.8V.   Heard some dits, but the wind was so light some of the dits sounded like short dahs....or I was just tired.

I happened to record 4020-4120 kHz last night, so I checked for Windy. Sure enough, there it was, starting around 0930z or so, 22 July 2017. Gone by about 1000z.

I have not heard Windy in a few days. In the beginning the battery voltage was up to 13.6 volts in sunny weather but in recent weeks it rarely hit 13 volts if I remember correctly.

Anyone else hearing it?
