50,000 watt stations along/near path of eclipse
« on: August 20, 2017, 2308 UTC »

If the afternoon turns into night time reception conditions, these stations (with UTC time at Total) along the path might be heard during the afternoon much more distant than usual.  The list appears in a lengthier column on SWLing Post blog.  I thought I'd shorten and share here.  I'm hoping for WBT here, an easy catch most evenings here.

If I can get set up fast enough, I'll see if I can get the entire bcb recorded, being about 75 miles from totality. Might find something of interest in the recording, however I'll be mowing the lawn at the time because it's freaking hot here and I want as much shade as I can get!
