5780 kHz 6.780 MHz
Spanish voices SS language SS traffic Spanish language 6780 kHz

Faint two-way voice traffic heard on this frequency tonight, only bits and pieces but enough for me to pick out a couple Spanish words, logging this as peskies given the characteristics (frequency, mode, frequency step, time of day, language, etc).    I have logged several phone patch or radiotelephone-like QSOs in the area around 6765 kHz, 6770 kHz or so, including 6775 kHz and several offset frequencies such as 6771.5 kHz and 6772.5 kHz so 6780 kHz fits in there.  It also fits with the 5 kHz frequency step that the Spanish speaking freeband nets seem to use.
