New one for me, 1700 is open with WRCR off the air. Excited OMs talking in FF or Creole, mentions of the hurricane.

Re WJCC language per Wikipedia:

WJCC (A.M. 1700 kHz) is a radio station licensed to Miami Springs, Florida. It is the expanded band station of WNMA/1210. It broadcasts a world ethnic format.

When you Google "world ethnic format" you get lots of hits referring to radio stations (mostly AM) broadcasting in a variety of tongues...

Not sure who I am hearing on 1700 @ 0308 UTC 9/14/17 but they are playing Sweet California & CD9 "Vuelves". Signal is not even moving my S meter. Need a better antenna for the AM band. 40 meter dipole isn't cutting it.
