UNID Portuguese Language 6925 kHz LSB 2200 UTC 13 Sept 2017
« on: September 13, 2017, 2219 UTC »
Started monitoring Spanish language traffic on 6920 USB and noticed strong Portuguese language chatter on 6925 kHz LSB mode.  Sometimes causing major QRM to the somewhat wide banded USB audio signal on 6920 kHz.

U.S. East Coast, various HF/VHF/UHF radios/transceivers/scanners/receivers - land mobile system operator - focus on VHF/UHF and 11m

These guys are now booming in significantly louder than they were 30 minutes or so ago.  At 2238 UTC, a strong station (S7 signal with nice SSB audio) entered into the on-going QSO on 6925 kHz LSB and another station replied at length to his (the stronger station's) question.  Too bad I don't speak Portuguese.
