Nice! I just bought an SX-42 from a local estate sale a few weeks ago. Haven't checked it out to see if it works yet.

Aren't there specific caps that should be replaced so a bandswitching wafer doesn't go up in flames in the 42? Not that all the paper and lytic caps don't need replaced but one is particularly evil.

I was thinking about trying to pick up one of these or an SX-38, to refurbish, just for the hell of it... sometime...
