WHYP 6875 USB 2220 UTC 28 OCT 2017
« on: October 28, 2017, 2220 UTC »
2220 UTC "Down By the River"-Neil Young & Crazy Horse (Great tune!)
Signal is a solid S9 here  :)
2228 UTC "Aisha"-Death In Vegas (Pushing S9+ now)
2234 UTC "OM with "WHYP-WHYP FM", into "Blood and Roses"-Smithereens
2238 UTC Mention of War of the Worlds, then James Brownyard with "68 degrees", more audio from WOTW, then temps in various cities from JB  ;D
2241 UTC "The Cisco Kid"-War (Interrupted by WOTW new bulletin), into "Stand By Your Man"-Tammy Wynette
(Sounds like a modern adaptation of War of the Worlds....awesome!)
2245 UTC "Long Tall Glasses(I Can Dance)"-Leo Sayers, followed by WOTW audio from Princeton University and James Brownyard adlibbing  ;D)..."Doctor Dre?"
2250 UTC "Eat My S**t"-GG Allin into James Brown and the JB's yeh yeh jingle...lots of yeh yeh's over a music bed of "What's Going On"then James Brownyard...."We're going trick or treating"
2255 UTC Signal dropped down to S3  :(
Still getting some good copy though!
2257 UTC Spooky sound effects, then OM talking...spooky voice...LP's Radio?
2301 UTC "Legend of Wooley Swamp"-Charlie Daniels Band
2305 UTC OM with spooky voice mentioning "My DJ...aka Bozo"....my names James Brownyard...a lot more trick than treat
2309 UTC "Listen to a WMPR marathon broadcast....where did Jay go? WHYP Halloween special
2311 UTC "Mr Spaceman"-The Byrds
2314 UTC "The Witch"-Sonics (Signal is just above threshold now)
(Spoken word is tough copy now....damn!)
2320 UTC Signal is pretty much buried in the noise now....it was great while it lasted! Thanks JB!

Great to hear you again WHYP! Been a long, long time!  8)
