Radio Kiribati has switched around some of their medium wave transmissions and has a new transmitter.

The 846KHz transmitter on South Tarawa (near Nanakaai/Bairiki causeway border) has been closed down, the frequency has been transferred to London Settlement on Christmas Island new transmitter which came on air 25th November 2017.

South Tarawa now transmits on 1440KHz from the Nanakaai/Bairiki facility.  View of site & transmitters can been seen on https://bpa.org.ki picture album.
