Yeah Man Radio 6925.7 AM 1854 UTC 4 Feb 2018
« on: February 04, 2018, 1907 UTC »
EDIT:  corrected sign-on time per logs below reflecting 1854 UTC sign on

Noted slightly-FMing carrier on 6925.74 or 6925.75 with slight drift down in frequency

Seems to be increasing in strength at 1907 UTC, Steely Dan heard

1910 UTC - carrier has settled on 6925.7 kHz
1911 UTC - heard an OM talking, maybe an ID?  then back to Steely Dan
1912 UTC - Steely Dan - Deacon Blues
1914 UTC - lots of QSB / fading, some points it sounds really good...then it dives back into the mud
1922 UTC - hearing an OM talking, mention of "SDR" ....can't make too much else out
1923 UTC - sounds like music again

Going by the other logs - please do do a Super Bowl broadcast!  I'd much rather listening to it on pirate radio than watch it on TV :D

S5 signal peaks, but hard to copy as it fades into noise floor. Sounds like Steely Dan Songs playing.

Heard from 1854 sign on, SDR recording catch as I was outside clearing the snow/slop off the driveway. Weak at first, but then SIO 333 to 444 at times. Thanks for the show!
