I saw this signal when I was recording HM01 at 1755 UTC I began recording it at 1817 UTC.  I had the software running in AM mode, but I have no idea if this was the correct mode or not. When I checked back later (around 1840 UTC) the signal was gone.

This is an OTHR.  There are several possible sources but one that will get the most mention is the JORN, out of Australia.  I would say Australia or China are the most probable sources, as they both frequently use this waveform.

It is tempting, because of time and freq, to think it might be US, and that is possible, however this is not a typical waveform for the US ROTHR.
