VMC Charlesville 8176 kHz USB 1200 UTC 13 March 2018

1200-1211UTC - VMC Charlesville QL Australia, OM broadcasting marine weather. Signal was S3-S5 above the noise in WNY. This is a new one for me. Heard OM say VMC several times during broadcast.
1230-1241 UTC - Broadcast back on but signal S3 at best in and out of the noise.

Good catch, you might like to try for sister station VMW over in Wiluna Western Australia for an increase in distance, across the Pacific Ocean:

VMW Wiluna, Western Australia:

2.056MHz
4.149MHz
6.230MHz
8.113MHz
12.362MHz
16.258MHz

All of the above in SSB... ;)

Grid Square:  QF37ub

Yaesu FT-1000D, Yaesu FT-2000D, ICOM IC-736 HF/50MHz, ICOM IC R75 & Tecsun S-2000 to 450 feet of wire, 27MHz 1/2 wave CB antenna converted to 21MHz & a multi band vertical of dubious reliability.
