« on: August 03, 2018, 1435 UTC »
just happened to catch this I missed the very beginning I only caught the msg:

F5HWE6WKWCKQYZ

"correction: item 12 QY7"
"correction: item 4 QUX"

QUX5FAUZUPCYCOFRP7

"I say again"

F5HWE6WKWCKQY2X5FAUZAPCYCOFPR7

"This is Resurgent. Out!"

-------------

what's the deal with the "correction"? "QY7/QUX"...you think those are callsigns/recipient/sender?

The preamble isn't a callsign per se, it's a header that applies to any unit listening for such, could be AF, USN, etc, and they know hour by hour what headers to expect/apply to that unit.
The corrections themselves could also be part of the message, but who knows?
