Did you mean the movie called "On The Beach"?

On the Beach is a 1959 American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama film from United Artists, produced and directed by Stanley Kramer, that stars Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire, and Anthony Perkins.[2] This black-and-white film is based on Nevil Shute's 1957 novel of the same name depicting the aftermath of a nuclear war.[3] Unlike the novel, no blame is placed on whoever started the war; it is hinted in the film that the threat of annihilation may have arisen from an accident or misjudgment.

I have one of those too (i guess everyone probably does). it really is amazing how much noise such a low power device can make. on certain frequencies in the 280 ish KHz range, I can actually hear the packet framing manifested as FSK. It was really fascinating for a few minutes, until I unplugged the router and the noise floor dropped 10 db.
In another life, I could have been a telephone engineer.

Please close this "Beacon Log" and move & relabeled this thread to one an entitled RFI discussion under "Peskies" or something.
Thank You

Rooter grounding and the application of cat 6 might help.

I substantially reduced QRM from ethernet by changing to shielded cables, and getting a new switch.
