It's smacking the Hell out of the Jarhead Riviera as I type this. It looks like storm surge at Camp Lejeune and up the coast at Cherry Point will have them them underwater, too.

I feel sorry for anyone fool enough to attempt to ride it out on Topsail Island and the 20 miles of resorts, condos, houses and motels on the Bogue Banks a few miles further north on the dirty side of this thing.

Earlier tonight there was about a dozen very strong wefax stations on at the same time around 6.3-6.5 Mhz.

A good friend of mine lives in Wake County....he decided to ride out the storm.  Really hoping he's OK.  :-/
