6811.5 kHz USB NOBLE SKYWAVE Training Exercise Net 1612 + UTC 30 Oct 2018

Listening via Chris' KiwiSDR, tuning around the 43 meter band...came across a military or military-sounding net

station Charlie Alpha One Niner CA19 calling any station, asking for radio check...CA59 responds...CA19 then replies that CA59 is unreadable.  CA19 then calls US19 for a radio check [1615 UTC].  Then another NO11 this is US47, over.  Two stations talking over each other for a moment....CA19 is still calling US19 for a radio check.  NO11 coming in much stronger.  US30 being called by CA25.  Lots of AANN callsign formats.

"To any stations, this is CA39, radio check over" [1616 UTC]
"Charlie Alpha 39, this Uniform Sierra 14, over" [1616-1617 UTC], several other callsigns [all using phonetic alphabet callsigns]  CA23, CA39, and others...

"any station that can copy, this is US30, over" at one point at 1618 UTC there were three stations transmitting at once. 

Possibly a MARS net or military training net?

"Any station Noble Skywave (or Mobile Skywave?) this is xxxx, over"

More stations giving reports, calling for radio checks, etc.  still going at 1622 (this time it was Charlie Alpha Three Niner / CA39 doing the radio check)

"Any station, any station, NOBLE SKYWAVE, this is US31 Uniform Sierra Three One, over" [US31 has the best signal by far]...then CA39 walked all over US31 with another radio check...ALE data bursts also heard on frequency

Some Googling shows that 6811.5 USB has been used in the past for NOBLE SKYWAVE exercises/training nets.  Other frequencies include 5205 kHz USB, 9900 kHz USB, 11103.5 kHz USB, 11539.5 kHz USB, 13584 kHz USB and 14461.5 kHz USB.  ALE is apparently also used.

I was about to post this to get it ID'ed or explained, but your description sounds like the traffic I heard a bit ago at 15734 kHz in USB mode.

I stumbled on this at 2040 UTC today (Oct. 30) and listened to about 2122 UTC. It was mostly different operators reaching out for radio checks. A typical transmission was like this one at 2059 UTC: “Papa Echo 1 4, Papa Echo 1 4. This is Uniform Sierra 3 6.” Other call signs I heard: US 21, US 25, US 28 and US 42, along with less audible traffic in the background. US 36 was by far the strongest signal heard here.

I figured it must be military, but I wasn't sure what it was.
