I also have a Kiwi SDR online for public use. There are sources of RFI trouble here but I'm working on finding where it's coming from. Also, for some reason my Kiwi is listed on the website as three different URLs! I sent an email to the support people regarding this. Hopefully they can fix this for me.

The link to my Kiwi is http://joeflips.hopto.org:8073/   Please let me know what you think of my Kiwi reception and what the RFI problems might be. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving guys!  ;D

Hi Joe,

You are about 50 miles ESE of  my location and we are both hearing LW station on 252 kHz from Algeria. I don't normally hear much LW here but conditions are good into our area tonight.

Hi,
Thanks for the LW tip! I donít hear much LW here either but I can hear 252 tonight, this is my first time hearing music and spoken word in the longwave band. I checked out your Kiwi and heard it there also.

My Kiwi is here   http://tokenradio.proxy.kiwisdr.com:8073/

Let me apologize right now for the noise on it, I have it setting right next to some RFI sources.  I have plans to move it away from the noise, but have not gotten around to it.

Here's the link to my Kiwisdr: http://strangebeacons.proxy.kiwisdr.com:8073/

I have plans to switch to a mag loop antenna, hopefully this year.

Update: Installed a W6LVP customized mag loop. Happy to report that the antenna works great. Best of all, propagation in my area is fantastic.

A second receiver has just been added connected to the same antenna as the first receiver. This has doubled the number of available user slots. If the first receiver is full it will automatically transfer you to the second one.  :)

My KiwiSDR is online as well, connected to a 120 ft T2FD antenna offering good performance from longwave through 10 meters, although the latter could do with some more solar activity  :)    http://sdr.hfunderpants.com:8073/
