Excellent reception on the '36 Zenith Console 8S154

Saw this tidbit on SWLing Post website "They gave the English schedule as Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 23:00 UTC with a repeat on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 03:00 UTC.". I checked their B18 frequencies and found it in English, now if they would only broadcast La Liga in English  ;D!  Surprising they are not using their long time frequency of 6055 which always boomed in here.

2300z Time pips, ID, "English Language Service.  Greetings from Madrid"
2301z War in Yemen updates.

Even better than mailbag was their weekly Saturday feature of a Radio Related song.  I hope Justin Coe is still with them.

Nov. 2 2300z Just a delightful half hour interview by Justin Coe of French-Algerian singer  Nesrine Belmokh and playing of several of her songs. Should be replayed at 0300z and should not be missed, best SWBC I heard on a government station this year.

Armchair copy this evening of the 2300 UTC transmission on 9690 kHz here in Florida. I was using my Tecsun PL-660 with just the telescopic antenna indoors, excellent signal and interesting programming - so happy that they're back on the air! I started shortwave listening in 2013 and came across their English Service only a few weeks before they initially discontinued SW.
Florida, always listening via my Tecsun PL-660 receiver.

REE signing on at 1455 with Interval Signal, ID, etc in Spanish on 9690 ...... unfortunately they are on this frequency past 0200 effectively now blocking Lagos, Nigeria that I enjoyed in English at 1800. Oh well... :(
Today 11-3 sounds like they are talking about soccer.  S-9 +20 some fading  Thanks CT! for the info.

Excellent reception

What you have at 1500z is the pre-match show for Real Madrid/Vallidolid.  Surprisingly, Valladolid is above Real in the table, which could account for their manager's sacking last week.  Kick off is at 1515z.
