That's an unusual time to be copying VMC at that frequency, given that it's later in the morning there. I don't see it on the eibi schedule but I know that VFF Iqaluit Radio uses that frequency as well. Did you copy the ID?

No ID copied - presumed ID based on frequency (wasn't aware that VFF used it as well) - very well could have been VFF.  YL giving marine weather forecast in English (should have stuck around longer to get more specifics about where she was talking about)

I'm almost positive it was VFF. I was just now copying two stations on 6507 USB as of 1335 UTC, one with a YL voice which just signed off and one with an OM voice that's normal for both VMC and VMW Wiluna. Also, I saw a report from a listener in Canada that he heard VFF around the same time as your report.

VFF is a hard catch. I'm not sure what their power level is usually, but it must be low most of the time. I didn't hear any ID myself.

EDIT:
Here's that other listener's copy. He said he heard it at 2245 UTC.
