6950 kHz 6.950 MHz, hearing stations "checking in" to the net, saying hey whats up, the usual ham radio like (or freeband 11 meter CB like) chatter often heard around 6900 kHz and similar frequencies.  There's a huge wide data signal obliterating that portion of the band (including 6900 kHz) which may explain why 6920 kHz + is so much more active at the moment
