American 94 scolded by Gander
« on: July 24, 2011, 0227 UTC »
American flight 94 (NY-JFK to MAdrid) on position report to Gander on 8891u at 02:08z. Gander forcefully repeating that they were "logged on as American 95" and needed to log off and relog on correctly.  American 94 seemed to get the idea eventually.  Never heard that one before.

It seems funny, but I wonder if it would be enough of a discrepancy for Spain to scamble fighter jets when they got there? ???

Peace!
