8000.5 KHz and a few others
« on: February 10, 2019, 2135 UTC »
Have a dasher on 8000.5 this afternoon, about one dash per second. A bit chirpy, actually sounds a bit like it is crying. Fading up and down but quite strong on the up side. 10FEB2019 21:05z 8000.5 KHz. Also caught a couple of other old friends yesterday:

09FEB2019 19:54z 6626.3 KHz - Rainy, weak but there fairly solid
09FEB2019 19:55z 6700.4 KHz - HexY2k quite strong with a bit of fading
10FEB2019 04:04z 4102.86 KHz - Windy peaking out above an S4 noise floor. TMP 46 B126

This is on the Airspy HF+ and a new 24 ft vertical I put up yesterday.
