0127 copying here with a good signal
0133 no longer getting that good of a signal, hopefully just a temporary dip
0133 off suddenly
0134 back on 4095
0137 "Under the Stars" Morning Parade, signal fair now
0141 Redhat on the mic.... "everything is going wrong and I like it that way.... it's very cold somewhere under the stars"
0143 xfmshortwave@gmail.com
0145 HFU shoutouts
0148 "Factory of Faith" Red Hot Chili Peppers
0153 signal pretty poor now, barely there. Come on, ionosphere!
0157 using the KPH kiwi SDR at Point Reyes, CA now. Hearing Redhat on the mic. (will have to keep hunting, there's some dasher audible in the upper side band on this SDR.)
0206 Signal has made a comeback in Denver.... "I Sat By The Ocean" Queens of the Stone Age
0208 X-FM ID into "Welcome to the North" The Music
0214 Redhat on the mic, will play a request from refmo...
0217 Redhat talking about cheap RFI spewing LED lightbulbs
0219 "Tear Away" Drowning Pool
0223 Redhat on the mic... into (at 0224) "Denial" Sevendust
0228 Redhat with time announcement into "Video Kid" The Birthday Massacre
0232 Redhat on the mic briefly into "Northern Lights" Death Cab For Cutie
0237 "What You Know" Two Door Cinema Club
0239 X-FM ID, Redhat announcing next song, "Obvious" Blink-182
0242 Redhat on the mic, reading email from listeners
0245 oly1959 has requested something from The Clash.... Redhat will play "Rock the Casbah" (later it sounds like)
0248 "London Calling" The Clash (guess Redhat couldn't find the other tune in his library)
0252 "Headlights" Morning Parade
0255 "Sleepwalking" Chain Gang of 1974
0259 "Celestica" Crystal Castles

Weak signal with instrumental music as of 0131 UTC.

0133: off?
0137: mixing with the noise here on 4095. I've got a couple ute-like interference noises.
0150: I can hear the RHCP song slowing rising above the noise here as it's nearly fully dark outside.
0156: Can hear Redhat chatting, but not quite copy-able yet. I tried listening in USB to potentially boost the audio, but that's apparently the half of the frequency where the ute noise is residing.
0215: Redhat's talking again, but the signal's still struggling to stay atop the noise here.
0220: Heard part of the Drowning Pool song, as the signal's peaking into very fair reception at times. But then it dives back into the noise.
0230: Some nice audio on "Video Kid" by The Birthday Massacre, then at 0232 UTC, I could hear Redhat chat a bit and clearly give an "X-FM" ID into the next song (Death Cab of Cutie's "Northern Lights"). Still no better than fair at the peaks, but it's mostly staying above the noise.
0236: Death Cab for Cutie into a great old Two Door Cinema Club song. Apparently, I don't need to make requests, as these songs are smack in the middle of my wheelhouse.
0239: Redhat identified the previous songs, then into a Blink 182 song "Obvious."
0242: Redhat chatting again, giving shoutouts and reading emails/posts. Talked about getting in reception reports for those who want paper QSLs (I'll be doing that!).
0247: Redhat named the previously played songs, gave another ID or two into The Clash's "London Calling." (Thanks, oly1959, for requesting my favorite band. Feb. 7th was International Clash Day!)
0252: "Headlights" by Morning Parade, then Redhat back on at 0255 UTC with an intro into the next song, "Sleepwalking" by The Chain Gang of 1974. (Signal's good enough now between fades that I can get Shazam to ID the tunes.)
0300: A quick email address, time check and into "Celestica" by Crystal Castles.
0332: Checked back and heard music, but that annoying noise is overcoming the X-FM signal again. Thanks for another great show, Redhat!

0130 Started out on 4085 with opening music and announcements, then jumped to 4095 at 0135 with initial clips ("We don't know who he is!") into music.  Redhat with talk about everything doing wrong and parents who were moving in -20 degrees, shout outs.  6095 is much better here.

S9!  Great Signal.

Hey redhat. S8/9 here, but fading into the annoying noise I keep talking about!

New house...if you're paying, sure ;) (unplugged a bunch of cables...sounding better now...hah)

Hitting +10dB, getting real wide at 0239. Mostly only hearing the lows, though. Radio Verdad on 4055's a bit stronger and clearer - bump up that power :)
BTW, if you happen to see this again redhat - got any Animal Collective? Maybe Fireworks off Strawberry Jam, or The Purple Bottle off Feels?
