I have corrected the frequency on my original post as it was unclear.

Carrier freq is 13565.2kHz
USB dial Freq is 13564.4 kHz

Apologies for the confusion !

Carrier freq is 13565.2kHz

That's an even better frequency.
The closer to 13566 the better.

Hi Exo

By luck my beacon landed upon this Freq using the capacitors supplied with the Black Cat  kit. I have no other components at all in my shack here. I had hoped to get the carrier to around 13565  so it all worked out well.
Your shot of the waterfall is interesting you seem to have much more grot at 13560 than I hear at my location.

I must try to get some software set up so I can see what's happening as well as see it. What s/ w do you use ?

Regards

Vic

Hi Vic,
It is a modified screen capture from a kiwiSDR on a private LAN.

I have received a report from one of my listeners that my carrier frequency has moved up 100 Hz to 13565.3

This is due to my antenna tuner pulling The oscillator slightly.

I have tweaked it back to its proper Freq of 13565.2 I think.

Please listen on both these Freq  I am running the antenna somewhat blind. I will try to find a sure fire fix asap.

I am working on a major antenna upgrade this coming week and I hope to get a significant improvement in signal ......might take ten days or so !

Meanwhile I am happy to have reports from 1200 miles away using Avery sub standard antenna here.

This is really good fun !
