Radio OZ Viola 5825 AM 2135 UTC 12 Mar 2019
« on: March 12, 2019, 2146 UTC »
2135 UTC Noticed a fair carrier here and I have some audio! Unid music is peaking at threshold. Can anyone confirm if Oz Viola is broadcasting at this time? If so, this is my first reception!
Still going at 2203 UTC but the signal is too low in the noise to ID even what genre of music is playing  :(
2209 UTC "Lifted"-Cindy Bradley per Shazam  :)
2211 UTC "Long For You"-Scott Allman per Shazam
2225 UTC Another peak just above the noise floor with a jazzy R&B tune
2227 UTC "Down South"-Kerry Wilkins per Shazam  :)
2240 UTC "Smooth Saxanator"-Brian King per Shazam  :)
(Best signal yet as local sunset approaches!)
2244 UTC "Sweet Ladies"-Quintin Gerard W per Shazam  :)
2246 UTC "Visions of Love"-Jeffery Smith
2300 UTC OM with "This is a test transmission of Radio OZ-Viola", repeated I believe, then back into more jazz music

It was a thrill to finally hear your station! I tried several times since you started up your operation and this is my first audio!  8)

I can confirm it's a test broadcast from Radio OZ-Viola you have heard. We did this test because the Sun is a little 'weird' at present, even in South India we are heard. Thanks for participating.
Best 73 Jan, station leader Radio OZ-Viola (also OZ8AO)  :).
Radio OZ-Viola is a legal low power hobby AM radio station from Denmark on 5825 kHz. More info on http://ozviola.dk/ :-)..
