Hmmm. Usually they're in the mud here at sundown around 680 road miles away, will have to try more often for them.

Tnx for the heads up on this one, logged it tonight for the first time.

The Omaha station, KFAB,  had a good signal in here @ 0145Z until nearly the TOH
when it began mixing with WBT Charlotte NC, then both stations slid into the mud.

Although both stations are 50kw, their patterns are directed away from me at night.

Try listening around your local sunset.  WBT Charlotte is probably on nighttime pattern by then
but KFAB Omaha should still be non-directional.   Most of the others have either signed off or reduced power by then.

That's what I did last time I caught them albeit it was short lived, and thereafter looked for some nighttime propa but no joy, have to look at their nite pattern.

have to look at their nite pattern.

Their nighttime pattern is directed to the west...  away from you.

KFAB fairly good sigs in here on the car radio an hour before our sunrise.
After sunrise, forget it, just a noisy mix with WBT.
