6925 USB (strong hum from inaudible AM station on 6925.3 kHz), 0110 UTC: Apparent repeat of previous Toynbee Radio show (http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,519.0.html) based on legendary Toynbee tiles.  Very weak signal from Toynbee Radio.  Second, stronger station with "child" voice (sounded either computer generated or altered) came in with "child" saying "Mommy, that man is scary, really, really scary", etc.  Toynbee Radio continued with monotone recitation at barely audible level.  A few minutes later a few seconds of the Mojo Nixon song "Pirate Radio" was started up, again at a stronger signal than the Toynbee program.  The "child" voice said "Mommy, please don't turn out the light, I'm scared.  That (unintelligible) man might come and get me."  Toynbee Radio continued with monotone recitation, "Toynbee Radio" ID.  A few minutes later a man said "Stop it, you're scaring the childen" and "You have my children terrified!", "Leave us alone!  What did we ever do to you?"
12-minute audio clip: http://www.mediafire.com/?n1nuy25mnlh

Another several minutes later an SSTV image was transmitted, a scene from the horror movie "The Shining" with the character "Danny" holding a guitar and writing the word "KCOR" (rock, backward) on a door, while the "child" voice continued chattering in the background.  After the SSTV image finished, WTCR (Twentieth Century Radio) started up with their usual fanfare interval music and very strong signal.

All in all, a rather peculiar and thoroughly enjoyable offering.  I'm not sure whether this was a co-ordinated effort between two or more pirates or serendipity but no matter.  Pirate radio could use a lot more of this sort of imaginative stuff!

Nice Copy Lex!

Odd, cool, and ...well, odd!

Never clearly heard the Toynbe audio, but the child's voice was huge here (New Smyrna Beach FL) in spoken bursts, clearly seemed to be responding to what I couldn't hear (creepy). Also heard the pirate anthem start/stop.

Creepy, Creepy recording Lex...great job!
