1730 In Zaire

First time I can see that title in written form just after hearing it on the radio. Thanks to the horrendous phonetics of the English language, and also because I was stuck by the plagiary from "(We were all wounded at) Wounded Knee", I could never write it correctly.  :D
(Well, also I never worked in the radio or music business).

So I just spend time to check that : the song by Redbone was released in 1973 (but had no success in the UK), then the English Wakelin recorded his plagiary in 1976. About the success, it was just the reverse here in France.

The times they're a'changing, comme disait l'autre, (and soon the United Kingdom?)
