Northern Relay Service, 10/14/11, 6.930.1am, 1:55+ UTC, SIO 222 in heavy static noise, heated ranting about various topics, music, cw ID "NRS", more rants about how people think the speaker is an extremist etc.

Killer signal here, about S-7 and no QRN. Great to hear an old friend again!

Next weeks contest: guess how many Volkswagons can fit in Joy Behars mouth. I pick five.

Thanks for the reports gents. 8)

Had a few technical things that I had to take care of. Modulator needed some TLC and did some antenna work that was much needed . Been hampered by a few things lately and dismayed by the conditions. But the last 2 weeks have really been picking up and look forward to playing radio.

Seven sunspots and counting . Just hope it keeps getting better.

CW id @0130UT (15 OCT) audio at the static level somewhat fair copy, more qsb than last nite

On a breathless political rant, not sure what the point is?

too weak to hear except for the cw ids

Northern Relay Service (presumed), 6930.3 AM, 0138, 10/15/11.  Animated talk just above static level. Can't quite make out what's being said.  0141 Sounds like a novelty song. 0145 Talk by a man; can't make out the topic but words occasionally come through "the downside of it", and ... ah, "the point of the matter is", 0150 what sounds like theme music.

Typical crushing signal here. Talk on economics. Not a lot of highs on audio but solid copy due to strong signal. Always a pleasure to hear an old friend!

I suspect someone is confusing NRS with Radio True North.  He uses 6305 pretty often.

I'm not hearing anything from RTN on 6925 now at 0520z, but I am hearing something on 6930u. It not particularly intelligible down in the noise but it sounds like mostly metal music.
