X-FM Shortwave, 6925u
« on: October 24, 2011, 0120 UTC »
Just tuned in to find a very nice strong signal from X-FM Shortwave with an ID and an intro to the various new and 80's music that will be played tonight. ID at 0118z. SINPO 45444.

0129z - Thanks for the shout!
0226z - version of The Church - Under the Milky Way.
0239z - I'm not a big Who fan, but I really like Eminence Front

Similar prop to Mr. Farley - about S6 here after 0200z
0246z - Redhat signing off with a final tune. Thanks much for the nice Sunday night show.

Ah just posted about it too, thought it sounded like XFM.  Thanks for clarifying for me.  It's fading in and out here but hope it clears up soon.  I always love the show.

Hearing How Soon Is Now from the Smiths.  Glad its getting a bit clearer here in southern ontario.  Got a new Icom R75 recently, using a End Fedz SWL shortware wire antenna.

Weak and barely audible above the static here in Seattle. Did just manage to copy an "XFM" station ID right now as I am typing this.

Update: "Strangelove" by Depeche Mode is discernible. Started playing at 0226 UTC.

Good copy in Florida, caught tail end of show with the surprise treat of Dr. Benway coming up to thank the op. That was a very awesome surprise. Thanks XFM!
