Family Radio 6924.70
« on: October 29, 2011, 0041 UTC »
I have Family Radio up on 6924.70 AM with a huge +40 signal, great audio at 0040z (10/29/2011). Just tuned in, but the usual YL talk about family and into ethereal/trip-hop type music.

Also very strong in NH this evening, peaking S9+20 at times.  Lots of WFMT ID's along with Family Radio clips.

Had this on in the background with S9 and steady.
After 0040, the reception here is falling apart with deep freq fades down to noise.

Noticing some CW being sent (fast) on or near this frequency at around 0049z. Family Radio still dominates though. Trippy prog-house type stuff at the moment.

Think I've got you right now (0153Z) via the Southern New England globaltuners feed.  Techno with 'mayday' mixed over it repeatedly; occasional CW in the background as well.

Late Post but I too heard the pop music on Family Radio right after Captain Morgan signed off.  Good signal,, but not the usual Local Like signal they usually bring into this area when they broadcast later in the evening
