Northern Relay Service 6930.5 AM
« on: October 30, 2011, 0140 UTC »
Since around 0120 hearing Northern Relay Service under the splatter from Wolverine Radio. the signal is getting stronger now about a S-3. Sounds like a Count Dracula imitation with a lot of talk about needeing a physical address for a QSL card and other topics.

Northern Relay Service (presumed), 6930.5, 0153, 10.30.11.  Very weak music followed by male voice audible after Wolverine went off.  I can't make out any specific details however.

10/30/11, 6930 AM, 0158z: Not sure if NRS relay, but heard a clear ID for The Crystal Ship.  Mostly right at the mud level at home via the indoor fugloop.  I could probably get clean copy outdoors with portable, except for an extreme attack of the lazies.   ;D
0328z: Heard partial ID, only able to copy word "relay" clearly.  This AM station trying to fight through the mud here, still on the indoor fugly loop.  This may be Radio Free Manitoba now.

Signal has improved a little here in the last 20-30 minutes. Its peaking out above the noise more often then not now. Caught the Northern Relay Service / Radio Free Manitoba ident then off shortly after 0330z.
