Antenna change on my KiwiSDR
« on: May 30, 2019, 1129 UTC »
I've switched my KiwiSDR over to the 48/43 meter dipole, from the 670 ft sky loop, which was going through a splitter sharing it with the netSDR. The splitter has fewer turns on the tap for the KiwiSDR, to eliminate overloading issues at night. But the downside was poorer performance in the daytime. This change should give better performance on the important bands, and it might dissuade the folks who liked to sit on it for hours at a time listening to 160m nets ;D

I checked a few 160m nets and find your kiwi's about 3Hz off.
