1270 KHZ @ 0456 UTC (2356 CDT local) with Y/L Hosting a syndicated talk format.
ID at 0500 followed by a news block.   Strong, steady signal.  Rather rare to hook this one as  TX pattern is straight north away from my QTH

SINPO: 4-4-3-4-4
NITE POWER:  5 KW
TX<>RX:   195 miles
 
Primary: Yaesu FRG-7700  Secondary: ICOM R75 Tertiary: Grundig  750. Tecsun PL-990X, Tecsun PL-880 . Malahit DSP SDR V3,  Alpha Delta  SWL Sloper antenna. : Also, 1940 Mantola am/sw tube. CountyComm GP-5/SSB hand held, Tecsun PL-380 ,et al.  QTH: EAST TROY WI  USA.  Sea Level: + 320 meters .  75 miles (but not far enough) NNW of Chicago

OK
They have a non-directional 27 kw daytime signal.
The tower is located west of Lake Charlevoix nearly to Lake Michigan.
Thought perhaps given those conditions you may have been able to
hear a signal (probably weak) during the day.
