Left coast and Hawaii was propagating to the midwest last nite at the same time as Russians were. Odd how 20m behaves sometimes.

20m SSTV (14230) was busy through around 0200 overnight, not too bad given recent conditions.

20m is dead right now save for a frying egg sound to the band, suppose a solar fart has been farted. 40's dead too.

20 meters wide open last night and tonight (local) for a few hours. Heard a guy in Hawaii talking to Europe, Russia, etc. for over an hour. Haven't heard conditions like this for several months.

I actually worked a guy in Germany last night. He told he had lived in the US for a couple of years for studies. He then said he had been to Florida and loved it. He went on to tell me he would consider living in Florida if it weren't for ZE Alligators, they are a nuisance no?
