Considering the kilowatts of power I know Mr Tobacco uses, the summer conditions for trans-Atlantic skip do not seem too good, probably simply because of thunder and atmospheric noise. Maybe autumn has the best conditions propagation and noise wise, this year, especially for the lower power stations? Ah, well, sunspot minimum...
