I hear music at the noise level, but nothing right now that's really legible here in the Pacific Northwest.

0102 UTC: The music's still pretty much at noise level, but the signal's getting slightly louder.

Please note, 6215 KHz is a MARINE DISTRESS frequency....

https://www.navcen.uscg.gov/?pageName=cgcommsCall

@0112z I saw the modulation shift down to 6190 or so, then disappear.  I now see something on 6290, perhaps the same station?
6290 KHz 0121z Led Zepplin 'Black Dog' noted with 6KHz audio, peaks to S9+10dB here.
0123z Mix Radio International/Cool AM ID into 'House of the Rising Sun'
0129 SSTV,  with weird frequency shifting.  I had my decoder mis-adjusted.  Similar image to above.
0131 MRI CAM ID into 'Joe's Garage' Frank Zappa.  Nice 7KHz audio now.
0137 Tom Petty 'Money Becomes King' slowly sucombing to the noise.
0145 Black Eyed Bruiser 'Rose Tattoo'
0147 MRI CAM ID into Iron Maiden 'Children of The Damned'
0202 QRT

Thanks for the show!

redhat is right, avoid 6215 kHz (and all other distress/emergency frequencies).

https://www.hfunderground.com/wiki/index.php/HF_marine

6290 kHz is a much better choice than 6212 kHz, especially considering how wide Mix Radio's signals are.  6215 kHz is not the frequency you want to cause interference to.  I would avoid frequencies in the 6200 kHz to 6525 kHz marine band in general if at all possible (and avoid the 6525 kHz to 6765 kHz aeronautical band too, if possible).  I know a lot of pirates use the 6200-6500 kHz range, and if you must use 48 meters, avoid the area around 6215 kHz (SSB - USB voice calling/distress frequency) and 6312 kHz (DSC calling/distress frequency).

6212 kHz is also one of the frequencies used by the fishermen out of New England, among other marine users.
U.S. East Coast, various HF/VHF/UHF radios/transceivers/scanners/receivers - land mobile system operator - focus on VHF/UHF and 11m

I guess after seeing/reading the posting from RedHat,
Mix switched directly to 6290 !

I think the reason Mix used the 6212 freq. - is because of many
SWL's check 6205 for Laser! So they will notice the signal @ 6212
also!

Why not just operate in a SW broadcast band? You are broadcasting!

Not enough 'elbow room' and too much interference.
