UNID 6950 kHz CW 1138 UTC
« on: November 05, 2011, 1631 UTC »
I stumbled on this while going through some SDR recordings this morning. It started at 1138 UTC on 6950 kHz. Sounds like some pretty poorly hand sent CW.

Any ideas?

Poorly sent cw on a straight key.  Sounds like a ham calling DU1MNU (German Station), or something like that, it's not showing as an active call on qrz, so I probably copied it wrong, hard to tell with the the erratic cw he's tx'ing.  The operator has a horrible fist so its hard to tell exactly what he's trying to transmit.  I hear v's, and ar's and what appears to be amateur call signs.  Then there is another operator who's transmitter is not operating correctly, who may be trying to come back to the original station.  Thats lust below the bottom of the 40 meter cw amateur band, so I assume someone is off freq a bit, or in their country they are authorized to operate there.  Thanks for posting, though.
