« on: June 30, 2019, 0216 UTC »
0215Z 34443 S7 Transmitter fired up on 6285kHz.
0215Z 34443 S7 Music. There's local(?) QRM causing problems. 6295-6325 kHz is quiet here. The QRM on 6285 was present before the transmitter was fired up (its been around for far, far too long)
0217Z 34443 S7 ID "This is radio station X-FM."
0228Z 34443 S7 Chevelle "Saturdays"
0239Z 34443 S7 ID
0239Z 44443 S7 Blink-182 "Obvious". Signal is improving slightly.
0241Z Lost signal entirely.
0250Z 54444 S9 Moved to 6295 kHz
0250Z 54444 S9 Rammstein "Radio"  Signal is fantastically better now.
0307Z 54444 S9 Jerry Cantrell "Anger Rising"

0218 X-FM ID
0224 "X-FM is now on the air."
0230 could hear music but signal was weak. Picking up now. I believe I hear Redhat on the mic.
0234 HFU shoutouts. Hello Redhat!
0239 "Obvious" Blink-182
0241 suddenly jumped to 6295 AM in middle of song.

0302 canned X-FM ID into"I Get Off" Halestorm
0305 canned X-FM ID into "Anger Rising" Jerry Cantrell
0311 Redhat on the mic
0312 add'l HFU shoutouts
0315 xfmshortwave@gmail.com, 408-800-6925
0316 Redhat introducing next song, "Paper Sun" Def Leppard
0322 "When The Seasons Change" Five Finger Death Punch

0341 "Celestica" Crystal Castles
0344 Redhat on the mic
...........................................
0508 I'm still listening but I got busy with other things and stopped logging songs, ID's, etc. Overall the SIO here has been around 222 with occasional good peaks. At this time the QSB is coming and going with increased frequency, so the band may not hold for much longer. Thanks for the show as always, Redhat!
...............
0542 "Time Rider" The Chromatics per Redhat
..............
0619 the show continues! But I'm heading to bed shortly. Thanks again!

S9+10 and playing classic XMR music. Super cool song at the moment. Thanks Mix Radio. Really nice broadcast.

Move to 6295 sounds good after the audible jammer that caused a buzzing. Sounding good and showing +10 to +20.

I can hear the carrier and, at the peaks, bits of music the past few minutes.

Not bad considering I left my long antenna at home and am working with just the built-in whip at my in-laws' place way out in Sequim, Washington.

0235 UTC: Audio's fading in more often now, but still not audible a majority of the time. I hope he stays on a bit until we get to dusk; it's still bright daylight here!

0353 UTC: Checked back in after dinner here, this time on 6295 kHz. Carrier's still detectable, but as the sun heads down here, the static's taking over, so I can't hear any audio.

0406 UTC: Listening to the music now via the Little Thompson Observatory SDR in Berthoud, Colorado, while I wait to see if the signal fades back in here on the Olympic Peninsula.

0410 UTC: Well, that didn't take long. Caught a couple snippets of RedHat talking here on my radio, first in LSB and then in AM mode, at 0409-0410 UTC.

0415-0416 UTC: RedHat's voice now fading in every 20-30 seconds in AM mode out here right at local sunset time. Again, using just my Eton/Grundig's whip antenna (not fully extended, as it's slightly broken) out here near the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

0442 UTC: Still less than ideal audio, but I can hear music fading in and out periodically here. And, now, at 0445 UTC, RedHat's chatter fading in and out.

Thanks for the music, RedHat!

Opening music with announcements to stand by an ID, movie clips for opening, music, Redhat talking about comments about QRN noted here and asking for frequency suggestions, some talk about weather, then reading from here with shout outs.

S9+10 with good audio and noisy frequency.

0241 moved to 6295 - better frequency here.  More clear

mmm, okay, i think posting the links some Kiwi's is not a good idea ?
the link in my previous post to the Huson, MT Kiwi got removed by a moderator, perhaps the owner is in the forum or the owner is a moderator and didnt want all the traffic, i didnt get any message as to why it was removed, my apologies for that  :o
i was merely trying to help those who enjoy RH's programming, hear it where it couldnt be heard.
edited to make a note at 0415z, Chris Smolinski's Kiwi SDR and the Sedona, AZ Kiwi SDR are receiving RH pretty well  8)
0624z - RH giving thanks to everyone who posted in FRC and HFU, emailed him and listened to his program and now is preparing to close the broadcast for the evening (morning) with one last song (sounds like a tune being played backwards, im having trouble hearing it due to poor band conditions and lightening static again, probably also because im very tired)
i thoroughly enjoyed tonight's program despite being tired, the large amounts of lightening static and having to jump to different Kiwi's due to band conditions changing over the course of time.
i hope the next time, i can relay your show  8)
0633z - music ended but hearing crickets/toads, probably part of the ending of song played - carrier off a minute later.
have a great weekend RH  8)

Hey Redhat. Catching ya here at 0247 on 6295 with Collective Soul playing into Ramstein's "Radio" at 0250. ID at 0255 and chatting about the transmitter being pushed to 750 watts and being heard into western Europe! :) Shooting the crow at 0302 in Halestorm. Signal varies from S8 to peaks at 5 over S9 and as always, great audio among the static crashes. Thanks RH! Looking forward to some new tunes! :)
