Junk Radio, 6930.47 AM, presumably via NRS

Just noticed it a few minutes ago. Was not there the last time I checked that frequency. Carrier is drifting a little as is normal for NRS.

Update: S-7 to S-9 signal tonight. Still fighting with the urban RF crud, but noise floor seems lower tonight than it was yesterday night.

Suspicion confirmed. Just aired a "commercial" for HF Underground, followed by Northern Relay Service ID.

Thanks for relaying these. It's really hard for me to get a copyable signal from most East Coast pirates here on the West Coast.

FINALLY coming through here, yaaaaaay!! ;D

Using USB got it around 6930.25 to get through the noise floor.  Peaking about S-6 to S-7, just above the S-5 or so noise floor.  0424 thought I heard OM mention "Paranoia News North"  and a bit after that g-mail address for Northern Relay Service.  All talk since then, and heard mention of the tune "Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash" 0429.  Will send report when I can; unfortunately have to go back to hospital in the morning due to complications (e.g.: much pain!) after surgery Wednesday, so have to hit the hay shortly.

Pretty rough here tonight, I think I'm battling some local interference. About the only thing I've been to able to reliably hear are the NRS CW idents. :(

11/20/11, 6930 AM, approx 0400-0430z: No positive ID, only occasionally audible during signal peaks, but sounded like interview or discussion about New World Order type issues.  One fellow's voice sounded familiar, like someone I've heard before on Alex Jones or Coast to Coast.
SINPO=32422, carrier ranged from weak to good, audio only occasionally making it through noise, main problem is heavy local RFI at night here.  No chance to try remote tuners tonight for comparison.

NRS noted here as well, good signal considering the very long haul.
